Model Highlights

The 2019 MKC is offered in 4 distinct trim levels; the base MKC, MKC Select, MKC Reserve and MKC Black Label (which is only available at participating Lincoln Black Label Dealers). The pair of turbo-charged engine choices are carried over from last year's model. The standard 2.0L EcoBoost turbo-charged engine is capable of 245 horsepower and 275 foot-pounds of torque while getting a very respectable 28 mpg highway fuel economy in front-wheel drive form. Adding all-wheel drive, which is available on all trims, reduces that figure by 3 mpg. An optional 2.3L EcoBoost engine straight from the Mustang is also available for Reserve models putting down a whopping 285 horsepower and 300 foot-pounds of torque. Both choices are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with steering column paddle shifters and manual gear selection via the center console shifter. Standard equipment on base MKC includes 18-inch wheels, a rearview camera, StabiliTrak stability control, WIFI connectivity, a 9-speaker audio system, an 8-inch infotainment system equipped with Sync3, an XM Satellite radio-ready audio system, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capability and six months of OnStar service. Power windows, door locks, remote keyless entry, a tilt and telescoping steering wheel as well as automatic headlamps round out the generous standard equipment list. Added standard equipment on the MKC Select dramatically improves the luxury factor of the MKC adding leather-trimmed seats with perforation, unique painted 18-inch wheels, ambient lighting, configurable daytime running lights, a retractable cargo cover, real wood trim accents and a leather wrapped steering wheel. Optional features like touch-screen navigation, a panoramic moon roof, heated rear seats, rain-sensing wipers, and a class II tow package as well as active safety features like blind-spot monitoring also become available. The up level MKC Reserve trim allows the configuration of the twin scroll turbo 2.3L EcoBoost Mustang engine, 3 choices of optional 19 or 20-inch wheel packages, a 110v/150W power outlet, a hands free lift gate, voice activated touch screen navigation, Enhance THX II premium audio system, and Lincoln's most advanced active safety features like Active Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Sensing System, and blind spot monitoring with cross-traffic alerts. Black Label trim tops off the MKC lineup by adding 19-inch wheels, upgraded leather interior, Alcantara headliner, "curated" color themes, concierge services, special maintenance scheduling accommodations and continuously controlled dampers. Standard safety features are plentiful in base form and up models and include dual-stage front airbags, rearview cameras, AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability, front seat-mounted side impact airbags, safety canopy system with side-curtain airbags, driver knee airbag, tire pressure monitoring and a LATCH safety restraint system.
